In Culture Wars, the player influences a population of realistic bacteria to complete objectives. The bacteria in the game behave very closely to bacteria in the real world. They use nutrients to survive, and they must find and collect more nutrients in order to replicate. They also mutate and pass on their mutations to their offspring. The player must influence the movements of the bacteria through chemoattractants, avoiding viruses and influencing the evolution of the bacterias population to ensure its survival.

Culture Wars lies in a gray area between gaming and education and takes advantage of games unique capability of demonstrating complex, working systems with dozens of interlocking parts. While playing Bacterium, the player can witness and influence the evolutionary process and interact with the mechanisms of genetic drift and natural selection. It plays like a strategy game, but the player comes out of the experience with a much more intuitive understanding of how the evolutionary process fits together.

Culture Wars was created by Stoz Studios, LLC and released through Butterscotch Shenanigans, LLC.

Needs an update
This game should be free since the last update was four years ago.
Nice game
The game is relaxing and nice, but sometimes hangs and to resume it you had to close the app.
Top Shelf!
This game would get a 5 from me if you could pinch/zoom out. Very clever system. So easy to get carried away and try to evolve too fast. A speed control bar wouldnt hurt either.
NOT HAPPY
I am completely unhappy with this, and I want my money back. I purchased the same game on my kindle, and it is way better on the kindle. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
Waste of money
The app cannot correctly sync with where I touch the screen, making it impossible to play. Even after rebooting my phone and reinstalling the game, same issue. No other games have this issue. For 2 dollars? Wow. Just wow.
